Once you have given your radio your call sign it now has an identity on the D-Star Network.
Step 2. Creating a Group and Entry.
Back out of the SET menu and back to the main MENU. Click on the DV Memory link.
If you already have a Group you would like to use to for the MB6CF memory, go ahead and select it. Otherwise press and hold in an empty group and edit the name. Once your group has a name press it once more to enter that group folder. The group will be empty but press and hold the word blank, and then select add once it pops up.
Select NAME and Call it whatever you like.
Select CALL SIGN. Enter MB6CF C. (add 2 spaces after the Call sign MB6CF {space} (space} C. Adding 2 spaces is important because it expects 6 characters and our Gateway has only 5 so the extra space after fills it. Now scroll down to the next page
The GW CALL SIGN is automatically filled. Change USE (FROM) to YES. and enter our frequency. 144.850.000. Scroll Down to the next page
Set the DUP to either + or -. At find the OFF setting doesn’t work on my firmware version so this is a workaround. Then set the OFFSET FREQ to 0.000.0 offset.
