To connect to this Gateway and you are within range first of all you will need to create a DV Memory. The DV setting on your ICOM radio has its own memory slots.
Most Radios have Repeater Groups, that contain repeaters. In this Tutorial we will Create a Repeater group and name it “Local” then inside this group we will create a memory for this gateway MB6CF. In this tutorial we will use an IC-9700. You will find that menu names and locations will be the same or very similar to most other ICOM D-Star enabled radios.
Step 1
Click or enter the main MENU on your radio
Then select MY STATION
Select DV Call and enter your call sign. It will require a letter after, this can be anything you like.
